RIB Safari Light

Experience Haugesund from the sea – in a fun, easy and accessible way.

This short RIB tour is a “light” version of our popular RIB Safari, designed for those who want to try the experience without committing to a longer expedition or full gear setup.

Your journey begins at our visitor centre, where our team welcomes you and provides a brief safety introduction before you head to the boat equipped with a life jacket.

From here, we set off into the sheltered waters surrounding Haugesund. You’ll feel the thrill of speed, the fresh sea air, and the closeness to nature – all while staying within calm and protected surroundings.

Along the way, your skipper shares short stories about local life, the coastline, and the history that has shaped this region.

This is not the full island-hopping adventure – but rather a playful and accessible introduction to the RIB experience. Perfect for first-time riders, families, and anyone curious to try something new.

10 minutes before at our Visitor Center, just a few minutes’ walk from the cruise terminal. You’ll be on the right track when you start seeing our signs, green beach flags, and colleagues in green jackets – we’ll be there to guide you the rest of the way.

Included: Guided RIB safari. Life jacket.

Restrictions: Max weight: 150 kg. Dress according to the weather. Warm layered clothing, sun protection and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and not considered suitable for those who are pregnant or with mobility concerns (back problems).

Cancellation: For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. We also have a full refund if the cruise ship for some reason, does not arrive at the port or if the hour of arrival/departure changes so much that it interferes with the trip.
