Experience nordic beauty!

Explore Haugesund's stunning landscapes with a minibus tour and hike to Kringsjå farm, featuring panoramic views, local history, and a tasty treat.

Join the locals! Unearth the beauty of Nordic nature and culture with us! Embark on an enchanting hike to the charming Kringsjå farm, offering spectacular panoramic views of Haugesund and the surrounding mountains. "Kringsjå" aptly translates to "see all around," and this tour is hailed as one of the most authentic experiences by our visitors.

Your journey begins with a short 20-minute minibus ride to Steinsfjellet, a popular lookout point overlooking Haugesund. From there, a 15 to 20-minute hike takes you to a traditional Norwegian cabin and farm, where a local expert shares the rich history and development of this cultural gem. You'll hear captivating stories, including tales of occupation during World War II.

One of the highlights is witnessing the farmer's call, summoning wild sheep that roam the area—a delightful spectacle for all ages as the sheep gather, drawn by the prospect of a treat. The fresh air and exploration may stir your appetite. While taking in the stunning surroundings, enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or water, accompanied by a slice of delicious apple cake.

Kringsjå farm is run by a private foundation, and we are proud to support them with every ticket sold on this tour. This contribution helps preserve this local treasure and its cultural heritage.

On the return journey, the bus will stop at the Harald Hårfagre monument and the captivating Rising Tide horse sculptures, adding the perfect finishing touch to your adventure.

Join us for an immersive experience that blends nature, culture, history, and delightful refreshments, leaving you with cherished memories.

«Fabulous memories Perfect tour Tom and his team made it so special for my toddler. The cake was amazing and I cuddled a lamb. I would not advise for anyone who struggles with walking, or prams it’s quite a challenging walk to the farm. Saying that if I’d known that I would have missed out on this fabulous experience. It really made our holiday special.»
