Skudeneshavn:  The ‘White Lady of the Empire.’

Our main stop is one of Norway’s most charming summer towns, Skudeneshavn,  with a strong maritime heritage, particularly associated with sailing ships and white wooden houses.   Stroll through its quaint streets and we will enjoy a cup of coffee and cake in the beautifully preserved setting at the historic Lundin's Hotel. The hotel keeper will also share stories about the town’s history and cultural heritage. Every detail of this unique time capsule has been lovingly restored, offering an authentic glimpse into Norway’s past.

Avaldsnes & St. Olav's Church

Our final stop takes you to Avaldsnes, the birthplace of Viking kings. Explore St. Olav's Church, a medieval landmark built in 1250 that guided pilgrims for centuries. The site offers a fascinating connection to Norway's Viking heritage.

If we have time left over, we will drop by the famous horse sculptures from the Thames, "The Rising Tides" by Jason D. Taylor or the Visnes mining community where the copper for the Statue of Liberty in New York was sourced.
